Come to the realisation that I don't really give a shit about much at all, and to be honest I can't remember the last time I really did.
At one stage I was fully dedicated to the band, but that all turned to shit and I kind of lost faith in that.
Wait maybe that's a lie.
I really want to get this van and take a trip around NZ with a couple of mates, but I think the initial idea/purpose/whatever has been lost to them (sorry, maybe I'm wrong but money wasn't the idea, ever.), that doesn't mean we won't still do it, it just got me thinkin'.
I dunno.
I don't think I'll drink for awhile, not that I've been drinking much lately anyways, and not because I hate the repercussions of my drinking, I just want to save some cash and to be honest I can't really see the point of it at the moment.
Then again, I'll probably be drinking within a week.
If my brother gets me full time work I'm totally dropping out of MAINZ, don't even feel like I belong there anymore which is messed up as I spent like half of last year fantasising about it =.
I dunno, this is kind of a misery post just to get stuff out of my head onto paper. Or blog I guess.
I want a month, even a week would do, at this rate I think I'll be lucky to get a day.

Wayd I know exactly how you feel, kinda. I've been asking myself why the hell I'm doing a music degree at all. I love music, and studying in the way we do is, to put it bluntly "crapping all over my passion". The way I see things these days, is that you've got one life to live. Enjoy it, and set goals to accomplish things that will help you and others enjoy life more.

I don't know what I want to be doing in 5 years time, so I think we're in the same boat at the moment.

its really awsum ur doing something ur truly passionate about, evan if you think your failing in this day and age to pass something you need to do some bullshit exam that the teachers make up. In there eyes u myt fail but in yours eyes your always getting an A+ because u love the music and no matter what you write or play for the stupid tests its got you heart and sole in it and thats all that matters! dont forget that evan if its looking horrible just stick it to the man keep your head up and play with everything u got..the van sounds awsum who needs ta get paid for what where gona do the point is were all gona escape 4 a period of time ta b free from everything i think we should show ppl how much fun we can have escaping so we def hav to take a cam with us and you tube the shit out of it :D also the band idea 10 points for sugesting it :D well talk more later

ReplyDelete@ KJ: It's weird though, like at Mainz it'll be 3 weeks of complete suck and just when I think I'm about to drop out we'll have performances and I get convinced that the next month will be awesome. It never is though :S
And fuck I'm so addicted to WoW atm lol. CONCEITED.
@Woong: Well I'm buying the van as soon as I hear from garrett so yeah, if you want to try do the video camera thing then let me know in the next few days and we'll go into TVNZ.
If there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that I don't want to play drums in our band. Could always get Mate or Dallas from uni? I don't know.
@Banjo: Lol, I swear that had almost nothing to do with what I wrote but sweet as, appreciate it.
And yeah more or less what I just said to Woong ^^.
So yeah. Oh and if anyone wants to get together and play one track in a recording studio for my assignment that'd be sweet (doesn't have to be good I just have to show I know how to use the software (which I don't but meh)).
